S2 Volcanoes Investigation
Aim: To find out as much as you can about a volcano of your choice
Planning: Here is a list of the areas you will need to investigate
- Where in the world most Volcanoes are found
- How Volcanoes are formed
- What causes volcanoes to erupt
- When did the volcano erupt last and what happened
- The bad effects on people, the landscape and the environment of the volcanic eruption
- The good effects of the volcanic eruption
How should i present my investigation?
- Please have your investigation word processed
- Your front cover should have your name, class and title with some pictures
- Please include a contents page
- You should have an introduction that explains what your investigation is going to talk about
- Take a new page for each of the questions from the above planning section
- Include diagrams, maps, pictures and photographs
- You should finish your investigation with a conclusion (10-20 lines)
- Your final page should be a bibliography (A bibliography lists all the main sources you used to collect your information)
